Diana, owner of Desert Physical Therapy and Women's Health Center, LLC, earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy degree from Northern Arizona University. She opened Desert PT to provide the Valley with a place for holistic rehabilitation and wellness with a focus on pelvic physical therapy. Diana has extensive training in the fields of pelvic rehabilitation and yoga therapy. Her hands-on treatment approach utilizes techniques such as myofascial release, visceral manipulation, and intramuscular manual therapy/trigger point dry needling. Diana's areas of expertise include prevention and wellness, prenatal/postpartum, pelvic pain, pain with intercourse, incontinence, post-surgical pain, abdominal adhesions, and infertility. Her goal is to empower patients to take their rehabilitation into their own hands as they discover their personal path to wellness. When away from the office, Diana loves to spend time with her two young children, amazing husband, and four-legged, furry kiddos.
Diana is currently seeing patients on Mondays, Tuesdays & Thursdays.
Loretta, owner of Women's Choice Physical Therapy, has long been regarded by patients and colleagues as a leading clinician in her field. She has more than 23 years of experience as a Physical Therapist specializing in Orthopedic and pelvic girdle dysfunction. In 1999, Loretta was recognized as a Board Certified Clinical Specialist in Orthopedics by the American Physical Therapy Association. For the past 10 years, her practice has been devoted exclusively to Pelvic Dysfunction in both women and men.
In addition to her clinical practice, Loretta is devoting more time to research. Along with Dr. Michael Hibner, she has co-authored a paper on pudendal neuralgia and plans to continue this research collaboration in the coming years. She will also be expanding her practice to work part time with Dr. Hibner in his office.
Loretta also has extensive experience as a teacher and lifelong learner. She was a part time instructor in New York at Columbia University’s graduate P.T. program for 7 years. Both students and the public have enjoyed her informative and spirited lectures. With over 1000 hours of continuing education training, Loretta continues to challenge herself to find the most effective and efficient treatments to improve the quality of life for her patients.
Tara, owner of Women’s Center for Wellness and Rehabilitation, graduated from A.T. Still University with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy. She started her interest in Women’s Health during graduate school and focused her skills in Women’s Health. She is also a certified yoga therapist. She brings knowledge and compassion to her profession and patients. She is dedicated to help her patients gain knowledge and skills to further their goals of recovery.
Sara is the owner of Inner Strength Physical Therapy. Sara has nearly 18 years of experience encompassing a wide range of patient populations and practice areas with a concentration in Orthopedics/Sports Medicine, Chronic Pain, Bleeding Disorders and Women's Health. She began specializing in Pelvic Health & Elimination Disorders for men, women & children in 1998. To complement her focus on Pelvic Health practice, Sara has extensive clinical evaluation & manual/hands-on training for the spine, hip and pelvic girdle joint dysfunction. Most recently Sara has completed advance training in Intramuscular Manual Therapy/dry needling through Kinetacore Physical Therapy Education. Sara received her board certification as an Orthopedic Clinical Specialist in 2007 through the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA).
Sara’s professional involvement includes active roles in the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) at both the state & national level. This includes currently serving as the Arizona State Representative for the Section on Women’s Health for the APTA. Sara is involved in student education, and serves as a mentor in the PT community. She founded the Greater Phoenix Area Women’s & Pelvic Health Physical Therapy Study Group in 2010 and she continues to coordinate the programming & serve as a facilitator. Sara is passionate about the benefits of evidenced-based physical therapy for health, wellness and healing with a comprehensive, interdisciplinary treatment approach.
